A growing movement in medicine and science acknowledges that we do not have just a physical body; we are in fact a multi-dimensional, dynamic system of energy and consciousness that incorporates our mental, emotional and spiritual subtle bodies. These subtle dimensions create a flowing human energy field (the aura, chakras and meridians) that interpenetrates the physical body.
As a holistic therapy system, Life Alignment recognises how the environment impacts our health. It is coherent with findings from psychology, the contemporary fields of neurobiology, epigenetics, and wisdom from ancient healing systems, including Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, and Shamanism.
From this perspective, dis-ease is the result of energy that has become blocked from unconscious mental and emotional issues. Memories encode as energetic patterns in our cells (body memory) and play out as unconscious stories that manifest in repetitive thoughts, unresolved feelings and self-limiting beliefs.
Over time, stress on the mind-body, creates energy imbalance and blockages in the energy field – which includes the chakras, meridians and aura – that can lead to physical illness, psychological suffering and disconnection from our life’s true purpose. Thus, working with both our inner and outer environments is essential for the healing process.
This transformational system works across the whole spectrum from trauma to self-empowerment, from illness to what it means to be truly well. Life’s challenges become a discovery of your true self, rather than burdens to be rid of. Illness is a ‘messenger’ alerting us to an imbalance in our bodymind. Energy medicine works on the principle of homeostasis – the body knows how to heal itself once the right conditions are restored – almost like rebooting a computer!
In Life Alignment, the focus is on root cause, rather than symptoms. The body’s innate ‘higher intelligence’ identifies the energy blockage, and through gentle emotional processing the mindbody system is energised and re-balanced. When the mind, heart and spirit are in balance, the aura, meridians and the chakras come into harmony, and the body is free to heal. This deeply restorative healing system has been shown to help a wide spectrum of conditions, including:
- Anxiety, stress, complex trauma, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
- Depression and loss of confidence and meaning
- Self limiting belief systems
- Specific learning difficulties – dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADD, ADHD
- Protection from harmful environmental energies – electromagnetic radiation, mobile phones, pollution and geopathic stress.
- Hormonal and immune system imbalances – allergies, infections, chronic fatigue
- Skeletal and structural conditions and associated pain
- Discovering our life purpose and direction
What to expect during a Life Alignment session?
During a session, the practitioner uses muscle-testing* to access the intelligence of the client’s bodymind (bio-computer), and identify the priority issue, the root cause, and specific processes required to address them.
The practitioner identifies specific body points, related feelings, thoughts and beliefs (‘the story’), and guides the client through the story, whilst using energy balancing techniques and Vortex tools to both release energy blocks, toxins, and negative feelings, and receive healing energy.
Old negative thought patterns are replaced with expanded awareness, which in turn sends positive messages to the physical body, creating a virtuous circle. Deep healing works on a cellular level, so the healing process continues for some time after the balance. Sessions are conducted fully-clothed on a treatment table and usually to take between 60 and 90 minutes.
PLEASE NOTE: Life Alignment is not a diagnostic system, a cure for disease, or a replacement for a physician. Please consult your doctor if you have health concerns.
* Muscle-testing is a powerful and accurate method of obtaining information directly from the client’s subconscious mind; it can provide information when the client has no conscious awareness of a matter, or where the client’s conscious thoughts and feelings would stop a truthful response.
The practitioner applies downward pressure to a muscle, usually in the arm or hand. If the client is able to resist the gentle force and hold their arm ‘strong’, this indicates they are either not affected, or are strengthened, by the issue under question (eg an environmental challenge/allergen, a psychological matter, a lifestyle choice etc.). If the muscle weakens and yields to the pressure, this indicates the client is negatively affected.
